Most of us swear off things like ice cream in January. It’s cold outside so ice cream is not on our minds anyway and some of us need to reverse the waistline damage inflicted by the holiday season……… but when our friend Karen Kinbar at Balleywood Creamery showed up in the tasting room Saturday with samples of her amazing Bourbon Vanilla Ice Cream I couldn’t say NO. As if that wasn’t tempting enough she came equipped with her homemade candied walnuts as a topping and….then added a swirl of our J.P. Trodden Bourbon Barrel aged Maple Syrup. WOW! Don’t worry, I’m back on the wagon again……..not that wagon. I’m talking about the Ice cream wagon.
